How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are a teaching agency working with a three-form entry primary school in Romford, in the Borough of Havering who are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

    About The Client:

    We are proud to be working with a warm, friendly and caring primary school in the London Borough of Havering. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of complex needs. If you would like to work in an enriched and supportive environment as a SEN Teaching Assistant, then this is the school for you! The school believes that children should be curious about learning and see themselves as lifelong learners. The start date for this SEN Teaching Assistant role is September.

    Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

    * Work as a SEN Teaching Assistant

    * Supporting pupils with complex needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant

    * Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.

    * Work collaboratively as part of a team

    * Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

    * Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

    Required Skills and Qualifications for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

    * Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

    * Previous experience working in a Primary School

    * Confident in using visual aids and/or Makaton

    * Experience working with children with SEN

    * Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant
