How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Autism Support) - Reception
    Clapham, SW4 (Lambeth)
    Are you an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism to thrive academically, socially and emotionally?
    A highly successful and ambitious primary school in Clapham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with Autism. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with exceptionally high standards, a nurturing ethos and a strong commitment to inclusion and pupil achievement.
    The Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

    Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged child with Autism.
    Support the child's communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and learning.
    Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, parents and external professionals to implement strategies and interventions.
    Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and enable access to the Early Years curriculum.
    Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and engagement.
    Monitor progress and contribute to pupil reviews and support plans.
    Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have:

    Previous experience supporting children with Autism and/or other Special Educational Needs.
    A strong understanding of SEN strategies, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    A calm, patient and resilient approach.
    High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
    Strong literacy and numeracy skills with a good academic background.
    The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated school team.
    Relevant qualifications in education, childcare or SEND (desirable).The School Offers
