We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of industrial steam boilers and combustion equipment who are expanding their UK Service Team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a skilled engineer to cover the Milton Keynes & surrounding area.
This is a varied field-based role where no two days are the same. You'll be working with a wide range of industrial boiler and combustion systems, providing first-class service and support to customers across your region.
Combustion Service Engineer - Steam - The Role
As a Combustion Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial steam and hot water boilers
* Commissioning new equipment
* Fault finding on gas and non-gas systems
* Gas maintenance and gas safety inspections
* Boiler upgrades and modifications
* Carrying out site surveys
* Completing risk assessments
* Providing outstanding customer service
* Supporting customers with technical advice when required
Combustion Service Engineer - Steam - What We're Looking For
Ideally you'll have experience working on industrial steam or hot water boilers and have a solid understanding of combustion systems and industrial multi-fuel burners. However, additional manufacturer training will be provided for the right engineer.

Essential Qualifications
* COCN1 - Core Commercial Gas Safety (or CODNC01)
* ICPN1 - First Fix Installation of Commercial Pipework
* CIGA1 - Indirect Fired Appliances
* TPCP1 - Testing & Purging >1m³
* BMP1 - Gas Boosters (up to 0.5 bar)
* CoNGLP1 PD - Natural Gas to LPG Changeover
The Person
You'll be someone who:
* Has a strong multi-disciplined service background
* Can work independently and manage your own workload
* Enjoys fault finding and solving technical problems
* Delivers excellent customer service
* Works well under pressure while remaining a team player
* Holds a full UK driving licence
