Humly is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dartford seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the full academic year, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, personalised learning to pupils with Special Educational Needs, creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Working closely with teaching assistants, class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
The successful candidate will be confident in adapting the curriculum, implementing EHCP targets and using a range of strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary setting.
* Has a strong understanding of a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
* Can create inclusive, engaging and differentiated lessons that support individual learning needs.
* Works collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies.
* Is patient, resilient and passionate about helping every child succeed.
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
