How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity

    Location: Dartford, Kent
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
    Duration: Long-Term (Full Academic Year)

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact?

Humly is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dartford seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the full academic year, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.

    The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, personalised learning to pupils with Special Educational Needs, creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Working closely with teaching assistants, class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will be confident in adapting the curriculum, implementing EHCP targets and using a range of strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

    * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    * Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary setting.

    * Has a strong understanding of a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).

    * Can create inclusive, engaging and differentiated lessons that support individual learning needs.

    * Works collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies.

    * Is patient, resilient and passionate about helping every child succeed.

    * Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).

    What We Offer:

    * A full-time, long-term role for the full academic year.

    * A supportive leadership team and welcoming school community.

    * The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with additional needs.

    * Competitive daily pay.

    * Ongoing support from the dedicated Humly team throughout your placement.

If you're an enthusiastic SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role in a supportive primary school, we'd love to hear from you.
