At Howdens, we're looking for an ambitious Junior Product Owner to join our Digital & Business Systems team. This is a fantastic development role designed for individuals at the start of their career who are eager to learn, grow and gain hands-on experience in digital transformation, technology delivery and product ownership.

This is a permanent full time opportunity based from our Raunds office in Northamptonshire
You must live within 60 minutes of us
A full UK driving license is required
Applicants must have the existing right to work in the UK. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside experienced Product Owners, you'll learn how digital products are shaped, prioritised and delivered across the business
Support the development of digital products and business systems
Gather and document business requirements
Help turn ideas into user stories and product backlog items
Work closely with stakeholders across the business
Take part in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
Support testing and the successful launch of new features
Use data and analytics to understand performance and identify opportunities
Research market trends, competitor activity and customer needs
Contribute ideas that improve the customer and colleague experience

You might be:

Someone with A Levels or equivalent and a genuine interest in technology or a recent graduate in a STEM-related subject
Looking to move into a digital or technology-focused career
Naturally curious and keen to learn
Comfortable analysing information and solving problems
Confident communicating with different people
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Interested in digital transformation, technology, e-commerce or business improvement
