What is the role of the Accounts Manager?
This is a varied, hands-on position where you’ll manage your own portfolio while supporting clients with both compliance and advisory needs. Responsibilities will flex depending on your experience, but will include:
Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow modelling
Reviewing bookkeeping and ensuring accurate reconciliations
Year-end accounts preparation for limited companies, including corporation tax
Sole trader accounts and personal tax support
Leading on Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiatives
Preparing and reviewing VAT and CIS returns
Supporting clients with system implementations and process improvementsWhat does the role offer?

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Flexible working: 3–5 days per week (37.5 hours FTE)
