We are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join a leading manufacturing business based at Ansty Park, CV7. Whether you already have machine operating experience or are looking to develop your skills within manufacturing, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career.
The Role
As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the production process and ensuring products are manufactured, checked, and prepared for dispatch to the highest standards. This is a physically active role that involves regular manual handling and lifting of products weighing up to 25kg.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating production machinery safely and efficiently (full training provided)
* Stacking and handling finished products
* Working from order sheets to meet production requirements
* Carrying out end-of-line production duties
* Completing visual quality checks on finished products
* Preparing products for dispatch
* Safely lifting and moving products weighing up to 25kg
* Following health & safety procedures and company processes
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who have:
* Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, factory, or warehouse environment
* Machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
* The ability to follow written instructions and work from order sheets
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting products weighing up to 25kg
* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
