How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Super Prime Residential

    Site-Based | South Somerset

    I'm currently working with a leading prime residential main contractor renowned for delivering exceptional prime residential, heritage conservation and bespoke construction projects across London and the South of England.

    This is an opportunity to join a business trusted with some of Britain's most prestigious private residences, boutique hotels, and historically significant buildings. With craftsmanship and quality at the heart of everything they do, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects ranging from £2m–£30m.

    The Opportunity:

    As a Project Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of complex, high-value construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants, site teams and the commercial department, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the exceptional quality standards the business is renowned for.

    Projects include Grade I and II listed properties, prime residential refurbishments, contemporary new builds, sporting estates, and grand country homes, each requiring meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership and a proactive approach to project delivery.

    This is a site-based position offering the opportunity to work on some of the UK's finest residential and heritage developments within a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover

    * Managing project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved

    * Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle

    * Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, designers and professional teams

    * Monitoring project progress and implementing solutions to maintain programme and quality objectives

    * Managing health, safety and environmental compliance across all site activities

    * Working closely with the commercial team to monitor project budgets, variations and financial performance

    * Chairing progress meetings and providing regular updates to senior management and clients

    * Identifying and managing project risks, ensuring issues are resolved proactively

    * Ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship

    * Managing project documentation, reporting and successful project handover

    About You:

    * Degree qualified in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline preferred

    * Previous experience working as a Project Manager within the construction industry

    * Experience delivering prime residential, heritage, refurbishment or bespoke construction projects is highly desirable

    * Strong technical construction knowledge with the ability to manage complex, high-end projects

    * Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills

    * Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong client relationships

    * Strong understanding of construction programmes, project planning and risk management

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using project management software

    * A collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional quality

    What's on Offer:

    * Competitive salary

    * Increasing holiday allowance with service, plus bank holidays

    * Christmas shutdown

    * Healthcare initiatives

    * Long service recognition awards

    * Retail and supermarket discounts

    * Ongoing training and professional development

    * The opportunity to work on some of the UK's most prestigious super prime residential and heritage projects

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to further their career with a specialist contractor renowned for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and award-winning projects. If you're looking to work in a business where quality, collaboration and attention to detail are genuinely valued, this could be the ideal next step.
