How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Location: Chertsey, Surrey (Hybrid / On-site options)

    Department: D2C Operations

    Employment Type: 12 months contract

    About the Role

Are you early in your supply chain career and eager to master the art of demand forecasting and inventory analytics? We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven Junior Demand Planner to join our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Operations team in Chertsey.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of numbers and strategy. You will help predict customer demand, analyze sales trends, and collaborate across teams to ensure we have the right products in the right place at the right time-avoiding both stockouts and excess inventory.

Forecast Creation: Assist in developing and updating rolling demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends.

Trend & Sales Analysis: Analyze sales performance, seasonality, and promotional impacts to continuously improve forecast accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather inputs and align on future demand plans.

Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of stock health, highlighting risks like potential stockouts or overstock.

Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare monthly demand cycle reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations for management.

Systems Maintenance: Ensure accurate data integrity across our planning tools and ERP systems.

    What We Are Looking For

Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Analytical Mindset: Excellent numerical ability and a genuine passion for problem-solving with data.

Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Communication: Great interpersonal skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally across departments.
