The successful candidate will join a team, working across a range of industrial manufacturing sites. In this role, you will carry out electrical installation works in accordance with technical drawings, construction plans, and site-specific requirements. You will play a key part in ensuring that all electrical installations meet the relevant British Standards and comply with the latest regulations.
This is a hands-on, site-based position that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in accordance with technical electrical drawings and construction plans, ensuring accurate and compliant installations.
* Install cable containment, cabling, and associated electrical components to required standards.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with current British Standards and the latest revisions.
* Follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and adhere to all site safety rules, procedures and permits
* Use correct PPE at all times, ensuring your work never endangers yourself or others.
* Contribute to and participate in regular toolbox talks with installation teams.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and quality control.
* Travel to multiple sites as required to support ongoing and upcoming installations.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, ECS Gold Card
* Proven experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, water or heavy industry.
* Strong working knowledge of British Electrical Standards
* Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and electrical schematics.
* Strong understanding of safe working practices and compliance with RAMS/ permits
* A full UK driving licence is essential due to site travel requirements.

Salary & Benefits
£23.00ph Basic 39 hours
Overtime paid after 39 hours at T1/2 = £34.50ph
Typically doing 12 hours Mon to Thurs, 7 hours Friday at moment.
Overnight accommodation arranged and allowances paid
Meet team at head office or get picked up from home when working away.
Holidays start at 25 days plus stats, increasing over 3 years to reach 28 days plus stats.
