How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Conduct High-Touch Viewings: Lead tailored, professional tours of the development’s show apartments and world-class resident amenities.

    *

Pipeline & Enquiry Management: Respond promptly to incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and property portals, ensuring maximum conversion rates.

    *

Applicant Journey: Guide prospective residents through the application, referencing, and right-to-rent verification processes.

    *

Move-In Coordination: Work alongside the wider site team to ensure apartments are prepped to perfection prior to move-in day.

    *

Local Market Awareness: Offer genuine local insights on Edinburgh’s prime residential market to prospective residents.

    *

Database Management: Keep the property management system meticulously updated with all lead interactions, feedback, and deal progression.

    What We Are Looking For

    *

Lettings Experience: A proven track record in residential lettings, student accommodation, or high-end hospitality sales.

    *

Scottish Legislation Knowledge: A good understanding of Scottish tenancy law (specifically Private Residential Tenancies / PRTs) is highly advantageous.

    *

Flawless Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a polished, approachable demeanour.

    *

Proactive & Self-Motivated: Able to hit the ground running in a vibrant, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

    *

Customer-First Mindset: Passionate about delivering five-star service and building positive relationships with prospective residents
