Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Birmingham on a long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential through targeted intervention and small-group teaching.
The Role
As a Primary Intervention Teacher, you will:
Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
Work with pupils who require additional support to close learning gaps.
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting interventions where necessary.
Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
Demonstrates strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Has a passion for supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
Is patient, nurturing, and committed to raising attainment.
