We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient financial support.
Working alongside our finance team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day administration of company accounts, helping to ensure the smooth running of financial processes across a busy construction business.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices and supplier statements.
Raising sales invoices and assisting with credit control.
Matching purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
Preparing payment runs for approval.
Reconciling bank accounts and supplier accounts.
Assisting with monthly accounts and financial reporting.
Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
Responding to supplier and customer queries in a professional manner.
Supporting payroll administration where required.
Assisting with general office administration and finance-related tasks.
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with company procedures. About You:
Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role.
Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to support the wider team. Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
