Polkadotfrog are delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-run building services business in their search for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a supportive, growing business where your success will be recognised and rewarded. You'll work with a portfolio of long-standing clients while also having the freedom to identify and secure new business opportunities, making a real impact on the company's continued growth.
Based full-time at the company's Basildon office, you'll receive a competitive basic salary of 30,000, alongside an attractive uncapped commission structure with genuine earning potential.
Key responsibilities as the Business Development Manager:
Develop and grow relationships within an established portfolio of existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase business.
Generate and win new business through proactive prospecting and networking.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Create and manage a healthy sales pipeline, consistently delivering against growth and revenue targets.
Work closely with the wider team to ensure exceptional customer service and long-term client satisfaction.
Skills needed to be successful as the Business Development Manager:
Proven success in business development, account management and winning new business.
Previous experience within the construction or building services sector, ideally with exposure to public sector clients.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
A confident relationship builder with outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Self-motivated, target-driven and eager to contribute to a growing business.
