VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Wakefield
Salary: Up to £34,500 Basic Salary | OTE £40,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards while delivering exceptional levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles
·Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently
·Completing repairs accurately and to manufacturer standards
·Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
·Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations
·Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
·Working closely with Service Advisors and colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience
·Maintaining high levels of workshop efficiency without compromising quality
 
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, or Automotive Technician
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·EV/Hybrid knowledge is desirable but not essential
·MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential
·Ownership of your own tools and toolbox
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence
·A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
