How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior L&D Partner (Sales) – Corporate Learning & Workforce Development
    September Start | £35,000–£40,000 + realistic £15,000 OTE (uncapped) | Agile Working | 2 Days Office-Based in Salford

    Are You a Senior L&D Sales Professional?
    Are you an experienced corporate L&D, apprenticeship, training or workforce development sales professional with a proven track record of winning and growing high-value corporate accounts?
    Can you confidently engage with HR Directors, L&D Directors, Heads of Talent, Senior Leaders and C-Suite stakeholders, conduct a strong Training Needs Analysis and turn organisational skills challenges into compelling learning solutions?
    If you are a strategic, consultative sales professional who knows how to sell more than just a course, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
    The Role
    Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior L&D Partner (Sales) to drive corporate learning and workforce development growth.
    You will own and grow key corporate accounts, develop new business and build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
    You will sell and develop solutions including:
    Leadership & Management Development
    Level 5 & Level 7 programmes
    Apprenticeships
    Workforce Development
    Learning & Leadership Academies
    Training Needs Analysis
    Skills Pathways & Progression
    Bespoke corporate training solutions
    This is a consultative, strategic sales role. You will understand the customer's business, people strategy, skills gaps and future workforce needs, then shape the right learning solution.
    Key Responsibilities
    Develop and deliver strategic sales and account-growth plans.
    Own and expand a portfolio of high-value corporate clients.
    Build a strong new-business pipeline and consistently deliver revenue targets.
    Conduct strategic client reviews, Training Needs Analysis and discovery meetings.
    Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and new learning solutions.
    Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
    Develop bespoke learning academies, skills pathways and workforce development solutions.
    Sell complex L&D and apprenticeship solutions, including Level 5 and Level 7 programmes.
    Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
    Work with internal academic, marketing and delivery teams to develop compelling customer propositions.
    Keep up to date with L&D, skills, apprenticeship and workforce development trends and policy.
    The Person
    We are looking for a proven L&D sales professional with a strong commercial track record.
    Ideally, you will have:
    * Significant experience in corporate L&D, apprenticeship, training or workforce development sales.
    * Experience selling to senior management and strategic decision-makers.
    * A strong consultative and solution-based sales approach.
    * Experience of Training Needs Analysis, skills pathways and organisational development.
    * Experience selling Level 5 and/or Level 7 programmes.
    * A background in apprenticeship sales would be highly advantageous.
    * Proven experience managing and growing significant corporate accounts.
    * A track record of generating a £200k+ annual client portfolio or equivalent revenue performance.
    * Excellent strategic account management and new-business development skills.
    * The confidence to have high-level commercial conversations and challenge customers appropriately.
    * Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and influencing skills.
    This is an opportunity for a senior sales professional who wants to become a strategic L&D partner to corporate customers, rather than simply sell training programmes.
    Package
    * £35,000–£40,000 basic
    * £15,000 realistic OTE – uncapped
    * Agile working
    * 2 days office-based in Salford

    * Subsidised University gym membership and dining
    * Professional development and CPD
    * Pension scheme
