Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced 2391 Testing Electrician to join a busy social housing maintenance contract in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong testing and inspection experience to work on domestic properties carrying out electrical compliance and remedial works across a social housing portfolio.
Your new role
As a 2391 Testing Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in occupied and void social housing properties
Testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with current wiring regulations
Diagnosing electrical faults and identifying non-compliant installations
Completing remedial works following inspections where required
Producing accurate certification and compliance documentation
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Communicating professionally with tenants and housing officersWhat you'll need to succeed
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection Qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS / JIB Gold Card preferred
Previous experience carrying out EICRs in domestic or social housing properties
Full UK Driving LicenceWhat you'll get in return
