HGV Class 1 Driver – Barnsley

Full time ongoing, Ad Hock and part time shifts available with immidiate start!

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support operations for Company Shop Group based in Barnsley (S75 3DH) on an adhoc agency basis.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available throughout the week including weekends.

Pay Rates

* Monday to Friday (4:00am – 1:00pm): £17.25 per hour

* Monday to Friday (before 4:00am & after 1:00pm): £19.25 per hour

* Saturday: £20.25 per hour

* Sunday: £23.25 per hour

Shift Patterns

* Adhoc agency work

* Shifts available Monday to Sunday

* Start times ranging from 03:00am to 10:30pm

* Flexible working patterns available

Duties Include

* Delivering goods safely and efficiently

* Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork

* Ensuring compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations

* Maintaining excellent customer service standards

* Supporting depot operations when required

Requirements

* Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence

* Valid CPC Qualification Card

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations

* Previous driving experience preferred

* Reliable and flexible approach to work
