Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join an expanding team based on-site in Dublin. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical building services works on major data centre projects, ensuring all elements are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective communication channels with clients, project leadership, and key external stakeholders.
Package Delivery: Oversee electrical installation activities across your assigned package, ensuring works align with project specifications, quality targets, and safety requirements.
Installation Sequencing: Collaborate closely with the site team to sequence installations-including containment, cabling, power systems, and associated electrical services-to hit key project milestones.
Safety & Technical Planning: Draft, review, and implement electrical method statements, risk assessments, technical submittals, and RFIs.
Programme Tracking: Monitor and manage the four-week look-ahead programme specifically for the electrical works package.
Supply Chain Management: Coordinate directly with electrical sub-contractors, equipment suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
Commercial Support: Assist in documenting and costing scope changes, contributing to monthly valuations and the eventual final account.
Commissioning & Handover: Compile O&M, testing, commissioning, and BCAR documentation while monitoring as-built details to support a successful handover.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar electrical package management role within a construction contracting environment.
Sector Background: Proven track record delivering electrical packages on data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of electrical building services installations and modern construction processes.
Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
Core Skills: Outstanding organizational, communication, and time-management capabilities.
