How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Overview

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to join an expanding team based on-site in Dublin. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in managing and delivering complex mechanical building services works for major data centre projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear, effective communication with clients, project partners, and key stakeholders.

    Planning & Safety Compliance: Draft and implement comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for all package-related mechanical construction, ensuring HVAC deliverables meet project, quality, and safety standards.

    Installation Sequencing: Collaborate closely with project teams to sequence mechanical installations (including pipework) to hit programme milestones and schedule targets.

    Commercial & Scope Control: Assist in documenting and costing scope changes, contribute to monthly valuations, and support the preparation of the final account.

    Handover & Compliance Documentation: Compile, manage, and file all necessary O&M and BCAR documentation linked to your assigned package.

    Programme Tracking: Overseas and manage four-week look-ahead programmes alongside the wider project team.

    As-Built Accuracy: Monitor installation changes on site to ensure all as-built documentation accurately reflects what has been constructed.

    Essential Requirements & Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar package management role within a construction contracting environment.

    Sector Background: Prior experience managing process plant installations or water treatment facilities is strongly preferred.

    Technical & Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.

    Core Competencies: Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management capabilities.
