Job Advert - QA/QC CSA Engineer (Construction) - Major Data Centre Project (£10Bn)

Location: Blyth, Northumberland (On-site)
Type: Permanent | Hours: 40 per week
We're recruiting a QA/QC CSA Engineer to join a market-leading data centre delivery partner on a major £10Bn data centre construction programme. This is a key site-based role, ensuring CSA works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Non‑negotiable requirements

Proven Data Centre experience (construction delivery environment)
Full UK Right to Work - no visa sponsorship / no sponsorship assistance available

The Role

Working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Quality team, you'll own quality assurance and quality control across CSA packages and subcontractors on site.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and inspect CSA works to ensure compliance with specs, drawings, standards, and regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for CSA scope
Review subcontractor method statements, ITPs, and quality documentation
Carry out site inspections/audits and raise NCRs where required
Support teams with resolution of quality issues and close-out actions
Maintain accurate quality records: inspections, tests, certifications, handover dossiers, O&M inputs
Promote a strong culture of quality, health & safety, and compliance

What We're Looking For

Strong track record in QA/QC on large-scale construction projects (data centres strongly preferred)
Solid knowledge of CSA construction methods and regulatory requirements
Comfortable managing documentation, inspections, and subcontractor quality processes
Strong communication skills and detail-focused approach
