Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools and nursery settings across the London Borough of Islington who are looking to recruit enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Early Years Educators to join their Early Years teams from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in supportive educational settings where children are encouraged to thrive through creative, play-based learning and high-quality early years provision.

The Role

As an Early Years Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS Framework.
Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity and independence.
Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and the wider school team.
Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or recognised equivalent).
Experience working within a nursery, children's centre or primary school Early Years setting.
A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
