How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sustainability Manager Role

    Full-time, permanent position

Location: 5 days in St Pauls (Central London)

Need to have strong construction experience

    Key Responsibilities:

Certification Delivery: Lead and support the delivery of BREEAM and WELL certifications across fit-out projects. Act as a BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) and/or WELL AP on multiple schemes.
Client Advisory: Work closely with clients to define and implement sustainability strategies aligned with Net Zero goals and broader ESG frameworks.
Project Integration: Embed sustainability from concept to completion in project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and certification requirements.
Supply Chain Alignment & Communication: Ensure client sustainability targets are clearly communicated and understood across the supply chain. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to promote accountability, build capability, and embed project-specific sustainability requirements into procurement, material selection, and on-site delivery.
Tender Support & Presentations: Maintain active involvement in the planning and preparation of tender submissions, particularly where Environmental Management and Sustainability are key evaluation criteria. Confidently represent the business in tender interviews, articulating our environmental credentials and project-specific sustainability plans.
Carbon and Resource Management: Support the measurement and reduction of embodied and operational carbon on our projects, and promote circular economy principles, resource efficiency, and waste minimisation.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and supply chain partners to ensure sustainable practices are integrated across project delivery.
Innovative Approach: Drive the integration of forward-thinking sustainability solutions by effectively communicating strategic environmental options tailored to specific or upcoming projects. Provide ongoing guidance on carbon auditing, site waste management, and broader ESG objectives, ensuring alignment with client ambitions and embedding innovation across the supply chain.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare sustainability action plans, contribute to project and corporate ESG reporting, and ensure accurate data collection.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor emerging sustainability trends, legislation, and innovations in the built environment, and apply this knowledge to drive improvements across projects and the wider business.
On Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with sustainability measures, ensuring waste management procedures and indoor air quality plans are effectively implemented and maintained throughout the project.
Digital Tools & Data Management: Ensure effective implementation and use of our document control system (Procore) and embodied carbon tracking tool (Qflow), including onboarding and supporting project teams in their use. Regularly review and analyse project data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Internal ESG Strategy Implementation: Support the delivery of our internal ESG commitments through the effective implementation of our 3 Layers strategy. Work across departments to embed environmental and social targets into day-to-day operations, monitor progress, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in line with our corporate sustainability goals.
Industry Engagement & Continuous Learning: Proactively attend industry seminars, training sessions, and networking events focused on key sustainability topics such as waste, recycling, carbon, and energy. Stay informed on evolving best practices, innovations, and regulatory developments to ensure our approach remains current and industry leading.
