Peter James Motor Group is currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join our busy, well-established BSI Kitemark Approved Accident Repair Centre in Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship and wants to be part of a friendly, professional team.
Vehicle Prepper Responsibilities
*
Prepare repaired vehicles and replacement panels through sanding, filling, masking and priming.
*
Ensure all surfaces are prepared to a high standard ready for paint application.
*
Carry out quality checks throughout the preparation process.
*
Work closely with our Paint Sprayers, Panel Technicians and MET Technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
*
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
*
Complete all work within agreed timescales while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
About Our Next Vehicle Prepper

Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper within an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
*
Excellent preparation skills and attention to detail.
*
Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
*
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
