The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors, managing costs, contracts and commercial performance while building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
Producing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies
Managing procurement and tender processes
Preparing tender documentation and contract particulars
Contract administration and change control management
Undertaking valuations, cost reporting and final account negotiations
Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Identifying opportunities to develop existing and new client relationships
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards chartership
Proven consultancy-side Quantity Surveying experience
Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
Confident client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Experience within the retail sector would be desirable
A full UK driving licence
