How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As a Training and Development Manager in the facilities management sector, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering effective training programmes to enhance workforce skills and compliance. Your work will play a key role in ensuring employees are well-equipped to meet the company's operational needs.

    Description

    Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce capability requirements.
    Design and oversee career and development pathways for employees at all levels, supporting both operational excellence and long-term talent development.
    Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed training team, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and a high-performance culture.
    Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes across multiple sites, balancing business needs and resource availability.
    Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    Ensure all mandatory, compliance and role-specific training requirements are effectively delivered and monitored.
    Oversee the maintenance of training records, reporting, metrics and compliance data, providing regular insights to senior leadership.
    Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and business outcomes to drive improvements and demonstrate return on investment.
    Manage training budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise value and enhance the learner experience.
    Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, safety and operational excellence across the organisation.Profile

    A successful National Training Manager should have:

    Experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
    Strong knowledge of compliance and industry standards.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    Ability to assess training needs and measure outcomes effectively.
    Strong organisational and project management skills.
    Ability to influence at the highest levels of the business.

    Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
