Electrical Manager – Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all electrical activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Manage and coordinate electrical supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors.
* Plan, programme, and monitor electrical works in line with the overall project schedule.
* Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health & safety legislation, and company procedures.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, consultants, and other trades to ensure effective project coordination.
* Oversee quality control, inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
* Manage procurement of materials and plant, ensuring resources are available when required.
* Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, resolving any design or installation issues.
* Attend client and site meetings, providing regular progress reports and identifying project risks.
* Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all site personnel adhere to company and statutory requirements.
Electrical Manager – Requirements
* Proven experience managing electrical installations on commercial, hospitality, or large-scale refurbishment projects.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Gold ECS Card.
* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification (SMSTS preferred).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Strong understanding of current health & safety legislation and electrical standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
