SEN Teaching Assistant Required in Garstang

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Garstang. This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference in a child's educational journey while working as part of an experienced and caring team.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Assist children with SEND, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Help pupils develop their social, emotional, and communication skills
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Is able to work effectively as part of a team
Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable but not essential)
