How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Carry out minor maintenance tasks and support the upkeep of communal areas and facilities
Monitor estate safety, including lighting, security, and reporting anti-social behaviour or risks
Support waste management and recycling processes, working with contractors and local authorities
Engage with residents, provide updates, and support customer service delivery across the estate

    What you'll need to succeed

Experience carrying out basic repairs and maintaining environments to a good standard
Strong customer service and communication skills with a resident-focused approach
Ability to organise, prioritise tasks, and work independently
Basic IT skills and the ability to record and report information accurately
A proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to safeguarding and supporting residents

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete a standard level background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, once an offer of employment is made. As standard you will be added to the DBS updating service with a new check being carried out on a 3 yearly basis. The cost of a DBS will be paid for by the organisation.
