Are you passionate about safeguarding and professional development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Local Safeguarding Board Training and Development Officer based in Havering, Greater London.
About the Role:
As a key member of the Safeguarding Directorate, you will:
Develop and deliver an annual safeguarding training programme for both children and adult boards.
Organise engaging training events tailored to the specific needs of our community.
Promote the vital work of Havering Safeguarding Boards through impactful training and events.
Analyse training outcomes and present quarterly reports to improve service quality.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct annual training needs analyses to ensure our offerings match community needs.
Deliver a minimum of 30 training sessions each year across various disciplines.
Establish and manage a network of approved trainers while maintaining quality assurance.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners to strengthen safeguarding practises.What We're Looking For:
A strong communicator with experience in training and development.
Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practises.
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends.
