How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Head of AI Engineering

    Location: London|Hybrid

    Salary: £180,000 - £200,000

I'm working with an AI engineering consultancy delivering some of the most exciting enterprise AI programmes in the UK. They're looking for a Head of AI Engineering to build and lead their AI Engineering capability, partnering with enterprise customers to design, deploy and scale production AI systems.

This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth. Rather than inheriting an established function, you'll build an AI Engineering organisation from the ground up, shape the company's technical direction and work on cutting-edge AI deployments for some of the world's largest organisations.

As Head of AI Engineering, you'll lead a growing engineering organisation, combining strategic leadership with hands-on technical oversight. You'll work closely with enterprise customers to deliver production-ready Generative AI and LLM solutions, designing scalable architectures and intelligent agent systems that solve complex business challenges. You'll establish engineering standards, delivery methodologies and best practices while hiring, mentoring and developing a high-performing engineering team. Working alongside the senior leadership team, you'll help define the company's AI strategy and ensure customers successfully deploy and scale frontier AI technologies in production.

    Skills and experience

Delivering production AI, LLM or Generative AI platforms
Building AI applications using modern foundation models
Working in consulting, professional services or customer-facing engineering environments
Delivering technology into large enterprise organisations
Leading senior technical conversations with executives and stakeholdersIf you're looking for a role that combines technical leadership, customer engagement and the opportunity to shape how frontier AI is delivered at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
