Senior Project Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent

Cambridge | £60,000–£70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

I’m currently working with a well-established and growing property consultancy based in Cambridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a MAPM or MRICS qualified professional who is looking for genuine progression within a consultancy where career development is based on performance, capability and contribution — not enforced timescales.

The consultancy works across a range of high-value residential and commercial projects, providing clients with expert project and cost management advice from inception through to completion.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to take ownership of major projects, manage client relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Acting as Employers Agent on a range of residential and/or commercial projects
Managing a minimum of three projects concurrently, each with a value of at least £40 million
Taking responsibility for delivering projects independently from inception through to completion
Providing professional project and cost management advice to clients
Managing project programmes, budgets, risk and delivery
Working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams
Managing and developing client relationships
Supporting the continued growth and development of the consultancy
About You

The ideal candidate will be:

MAPM or MRICS qualified
An experienced Project Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager within a consultancy environment
Experienced in delivering residential and/or commercial projects
Able to demonstrate experience managing a minimum of three projects concurrently, each valued at £40 million or more
Able to demonstrate a minimum of two years' experience delivering projects independently
Experienced in operating as an Employers Agent
Confident managing client relationships and leading project delivery
Commercially aware, technically strong and keen to continue developing their career

The package includes:

£60,000–£70,000 salary
