What you'll bring as the Receptionist:
Previous experience in a receptionist role (desirable)
Must hold a valid DBS check and be registered on the DBS Update Service (essential)
Minimum 1 year's experience in an administrative role (essential)
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with visitors, colleagues and external contacts
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Professional, well-presented and customer-focused approach
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy front-facing environment
What you'll be doing as the Receptionist:
Act as the first point of contact, meeting and greeting visitors and contractors in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain a welcoming and organised reception area
Answer and transfer incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual
Direct and, where required, escort visitors and contractors to the relevant areas
Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures, ensuring accurate and compliant records
Receive and distribute deliveries to the relevant departments
Carry out general administrative duties including typing, emailing, printing, scanning and filing
Raise purchase orders using NetSuite and ensure all documentation is correctly stored
Support with ordering uniforms, stationery, Amazon supplies and other items as required
Assist with staff administration, including rota changes and agency bookings/cancellations
Update HR and clocking-in systems accurately and promptly
Manage staff lunch orders and maintain associated records/spreadsheets
Collect medication and deliver/collect samples from local surgeries or pharmacies when required
