How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Company

Our client is a well-established, socially-driven financial services organisation with a proud history of supporting individuals and local communities. As they continue through an exciting period of growth and transformation, they are looking to welcome a Finance Administrator to their close-knit and collaborative team.

You'll be supported to learn, encouraged to develop new skills, and given exposure to a broad range of responsibilities that will help build a rewarding long-term career within financial services.

    The Role

You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business, combining financial administration with wider business support responsibilities.

This is a varied position where you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping to maintain accurate financial records, process payments, prepare reports and ensure administrative processes run smoothly. Alongside this, you'll contribute to operational activities, helping the business continue to deliver an excellent service to its members.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Processing invoices, payments and financial transactions accurately.

    * Maintaining financial records, databases and business documentation.

    * Supporting the preparation of management reports and financial information.

    * Providing administrative support across the wider business.

    * Producing spreadsheets, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.

    * Responding professionally to internal and external enquiries.

    * Handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.

    * Supporting continuous improvement and assisting with ad-hoc projects as the business evolves.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within a regulated financial services environment and develop both their finance and operational skillset.

    Requirements

We're looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Previous experience within a finance, business support or administrative role.

    * A good understanding of financial administration and accounting processes.

    * Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

    * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    * Strong numerical accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.

    * The confidence to work independently whilst contributing as part of a collaborative team.

    * A professional and customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

    * A willingness to learn, embrace new challenges and develop your career within financial services
