How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An international financial services organisation is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Accounting & Control function, focusing on revenue reporting, performance analysis and financial controls across a complex EMEA business. The role combines technical accounting expertise, stakeholder engagement and data-driven analysis to ensure the integrity, accuracy and insightfulness of management reporting.

    Description

    Own and maintain monthly revenue and profit reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and control.
    Deliver financial and management reporting outputs, including performance analysis and senior management reporting.
    Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues, providing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
    Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury and Front Office teams to provide guidance on revenue recognition, transaction booking and reporting treatment.
    Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
    Support governance activities, maintain documentation and help ensure robust reporting and control frameworks are in place.Profile

    Qualified or nearly qualified accountant with experience gained within banking or financial services.
    Strong understanding of management reporting, financial accounting and investment banking products.
    Experience investigating reconciliations, revenue reporting and working with complex financial data.
    Advanced analytical skills with strong knowledge of Excel and other data tools.
    Familiarity with accounting standards and the ability to assess the impact of technical accounting requirements.
