How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    BMS Service Engineer - Trend

    Location: Inner London & Greater London (Covering all contracts within the Inner M25)

    Package: Company van, fuel card, ULEZ/Congestion Charge support, parking support, laptop, mobile phone and test kit

    Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-17:30 or 06:30-16:00

    Progression: Ongoing training, manufacturer certifications and clear routes into senior engineering or commissioning roles.

    The Opportunity

    An excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS Service Engineer with Trend expertise to join a growing team. You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a varied portfolio of commercial and public-sector sites, covering all contracts within the Inner M25. The role includes planned maintenance, fault finding, small works and providing technical support to clients.

    The Role

    Carry out planned service, maintenance and fault finding on BMS and associated control systems.
    Complete site surveys, prepare quotations and undertake small works, upgrades and system enhancements.
    Produce accurate service reports and technical documentation.
    Carry out point-to-point checks where required.
    Calibrate sensors and actuators.
    Modify graphics and maintain up-to-date site documentation.
    Support software strategy implementation and system optimisation.

    What We're Looking For

    Minimum of 2 years' experience servicing and maintaining BMS and associated control systems.
    Trend SET experience and Trend BMS qualifications.
    Electrical qualification or relevant controls certification.
    Good understanding of commercial heating and hot water plant, including boilers and pumps.
    Confident using BMS software and Microsoft Office applications.
    Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    Full UK driving licence.

    Desirable Skills

    Trend IQVision experience.
    Experience with Honeywell, Tridium or Niagara systems.
    CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling or First Aid certification.
    Ability to read electrical schematics and control panel drawings
