How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Social Value & S106 Coordinator (Construction) DC Solutions is looking for a Social Value & S106 Coordinator on behalf of one of its clients.

    Role Overview We are seeking an organised and proactive Social Value & S106 Coordinator to support construction projects by delivering social value commitments, managing S106 obligations, and coordinating training, employment, and community initiatives.

    The successful candidate will work closely with clients, project teams, local authorities, training providers, and community organisations to ensure targets are achieved and accurately reported.

    Key Responsibilities Deliver social value plans across construction projects in line with client and contract requirements.

    Manage and monitor Section 106 (S106) obligations, including employment, apprenticeships, and community commitments. Track performance against agreed KPIs and produce regular reports.

    Maintain accurate records and evidence for audits and client reporting. Coordinate training programmes, apprenticeships, work placements, and workforce development activities.

    Build relationships with local authorities, schools, colleges, charities, and community organisations.

    Support tender submissions by providing social value information, evidence, and case studies.

    Organise careers events, site visits, community engagement activities, and outreach programmes.

    Work with project teams and subcontractors to maximise social value delivery.

    Ensure compliance with company, client, and framework requirements. Skills & Experience Required Experience in social value, community engagement, employment & skills, training coordination, or a similar role.

    Experience within construction, housing, infrastructure, or the built environment is preferred.

    Knowledge of S106 agreements and planning obligations is desirable. Strong reporting, administration, and organisational skills.

    Experience managing stakeholders and working with external organisations.

    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
