How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior Business Assistant

    About Us

    Trade Mastermind is the UK's leading business education and coaching organisation for the construction and trade industry. Founded by BBC The Apprentice winner Joseph Valente, we have supported more than 5,000 trade business owners, helping them achieve an average 370–400% business growth.

    With over 1,000 active academy members, monthly live training events, and industry-leading multi-year education programmes, we are on an exciting growth journey, scaling rapidly from £10M towards £25M+ revenue.

    Our mission is simple:

    To transform trades business owners into world-class entrepreneurs.

    We operate from our impressive 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University Headquarters in Peterborough – the world's first dedicated university for trades. Our state-of-the-art facility features a 300-person event arena, professional podcast and content studios, modern training facilities, and Cambridgeshire's first rooftop business venue.

    As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking for a Junior Business Executive Assistant who is organised, ambitious, and eager to learn within a high-performance environment.

    About the Role

    As our Junior Business Assistant, you will work closely with senior leaders, supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping to keep projects, meetings, communications, and priorities organised and on track.

    This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in business operations, executive support, or leadership administration. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business while receiving training, development, and mentoring from experienced professionals.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Support senior leaders with diary management, meeting coordination, and scheduling.

    * Assist in preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions through to completion.

    * Manage and coordinate internal and external communications professionally.

    * Prepare presentations, reports, and business documents to a high standard.

    * Monitor deadlines and support teams in delivering key actions.

    * Maintain accurate records, systems, and administrative processes.

    * Assist with business projects and cross-departmental initiatives.

    * Support company events, training programmes, and leadership activities.

    * Help prioritise tasks and ensure information is communicated effectively across teams.

    About You Essential Skills & Experience

    * Previous administration, office support, customer service, or coordinator experience is desirable but not essential.

    * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

    * Confident written and verbal communication skills.

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    * Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.

    * Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

    * Professional, reliable, and trustworthy.

    * Able to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.

    * Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.

    * A team player with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.

    Ideal Candidate

    You may be at the beginning of your business support career, looking for an opportunity where you can learn, develop, and progress quickly. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, highly organised, and excited to contribute to a growing business with big ambitions.

    What We Offer

    * Competitive salary £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)

    * Clear progression pathway and ongoing professional development.

    * Comprehensive training and mentoring from experienced business leaders.

    * The opportunity to work within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organisation.

    * Company equipment provided.

    * Tailored training and development aligned with your career goals.

    * Modern office environment at Trade Mastermind University.

    * Free on-site parking.

    * Sponsored courses and development opportunities.

    * Company pension scheme.

    * Opportunity to be part of a business transforming the future of the construction and trade industry.

    Apply Today!

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and organised individual looking to develop a successful career within one of the UK's fastest-growing business education companies.

    If you're proactive, eager to learn, and excited by the opportunity to work alongside experienced business leaders in a high-performance environment, we'd love to hear from you.
