How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Civils Supervisor (6-month FTC)

    ***Immediate start***

Projects based in London and across England & Wales (Hybrid working with site travel and occasional staying away)

    £60,000 (pro rata) + 10% Completion Bonus + BUPA Healthcare + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Expenses + Travel + Laptop + Career Development

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civils Supervisor or Foreman to join one of the UK's leading fibre infrastructure businesses on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Working on major nationwide network build projects, you'll benefit from an excellent package, varied site-based work and the opportunity to contribute to high-profile infrastructure schemes.

Are you a Civils Supervisor with experience overseeing utility or infrastructure projects? Do you have a background in fibre, highways, utilities or civil engineering and want to work on major UK network builds?

This leading telecommunications infrastructure company delivers critical fibre connectivity projects across the UK, supporting some of the country's largest data centre and communications networks. Working alongside specialist delivery partners, they oversee the construction of large-scale Openreach PIA, civils and chamber installation projects, ensuring exceptional quality and programme delivery. Due to continued project growth and recent contractor demand, they are looking to appoint multiple Field Supervisors to strengthen their delivery team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background supervising civils construction projects, ideally within fibre, telecoms or utilities. Experience managing subcontractors, carrying out quality assurance and overseeing civils delivery is essential. SSSTS or SMSTS is required, with NRSWA being advantageous.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected infrastructure business delivering nationally significant projects, with excellent earning potential, varied work and the opportunity to build experience on major fibre infrastructure programmes.

    The Role:

Supervising civils and fibre infrastructure projects across London, England, and Wales
Overseeing subcontractors delivering Openreach PIA, chamber builds and associated civils works
Carrying out quality assurance, site inspections and remeasurement of completed works
Home-based with travel to sites, initially focused around Greater London before expanding nationwide
Hybrid working with approximately two days per week from home, depending on project requirements
6-month fixed-term contract with immediate start available

    The Person:

Civils Supervisor, Foreman or Site Supervisor with infrastructure or utilities experience
Strong background in civils construction and managing subcontractors
SSSTS or SMSTS essential (NRSWA advantageous)
Own car or Van and willing to travel throughout England and Wales with occasional stays away
Positive attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills
    Reference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
