How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Project Coordinator
    Syston, Hybrid working
    C£42,000 p.a.

    The Company:
    ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Group (CNPG), who have been appointed by the Department for Education to deliver the EVOLVE Early Years Stronger Practice Hub across Leicester and Leicestershire. They are an award-winning organisation with a passionate team who work alongside sector-leading professionals to support early years providers through evidence-informed practice, professional development and collaborative learning.
    This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a passionate team delivering a high-profile programme that positively impacts children, families and early years education across the region.

    Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Project Coordinator:

    * Coordinate the operational delivery of the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub programme, working closely with the Hub Leadership Team to coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure successful programme delivery.

    * Manage project plans, delivery schedules, action trackers and key milestones.

    * Take responsibility for grant administration, monthly claims, funding returns and audit documentation.

    * Monitor budgets, expenditure and financial reporting to ensure compliance with Department for Education funding requirements.

    * Produce management information, KPI reports, Department for Education returns and impact reports.

    * Organise conferences, training events, webinars and stakeholder meetings.

    * Prepare governance papers and provide support to Advisory Board and governance meetings.

    * Build positive relationships with local authorities, delivery partners and sector stakeholders.

    * Ensure compliance with funding requirements, audit processes and quality standards.

    * Coordinate Hub communications, including newsletters, promotional activity and digital communications.

    * Identify risks, monitor progress and support continuous improvement across the programme.

    About You as the Senior Project Coordinator:

    * Proven experience coordinating complex projects or programmes.

    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    * Confident managing budgets, financial reporting and administrative processes.

    * Excellent written communication with experience producing reports and presentations.

    * Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

    * Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

    * Proactive, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.

    * Commercially aware, with the ability to manage resources effectively and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

    * Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong digital literacy.

    * Experience within education, public sector, grant-funded programmes or early years would be advantageous.
