We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management team on a static industrial site in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships with customers.
As the dedicated on-site engineer, you'll be the main point of contact, ensuring electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards through planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
⚡ What you'll be doing:
🔧 Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
⚙️ Diagnosing electrical faults and completing reactive maintenance efficiently
🛠️ Performing repairs to minimise downtime and maintain site operations
🤝 Acting as the main customer contact on-site, providing excellent service and communication
📋 Completing maintenance records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
🦺 Working safely and ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
🏭 Taking ownership of a static site and managing your workload independently
👷 What we're looking for:
🔹 Experience carrying out electrical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environment
🔹 Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
🔹 Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
🔹 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
🔹 Strong communication skills and confidence in a customer-facing role
🔹 Relevant electrical qualifications
