How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher who believes every child deserves the opportunity to thrive? We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring professional to join our Foundation Stage team, supporting children aged 3–5 years with a range of special educational needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning through play.

    The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver creative, child-centred learning experiences that meet the individual needs of pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will use a play-based approach to encourage curiosity, communication, and social development while adapting teaching strategies to ensure every child can achieve their full potential.

Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and the wider school team, you will provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to succeed.

We are looking for someone who:

Is energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young children with additional needs.
Has a caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting every child's individual journey.
Creates engaging and interactive learning experiences through play.
Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Is committed to promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for all learners.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Essential Experience

Teaching Assistant (TA) experience within an SEN setting
Mainstream school experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

    What You'll Bring

You'll understand that every child learns differently and will be committed to providing high-quality, personalised support through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. You'll be creative, adaptable, and dedicated to helping children build confidence, develop independence, and celebrate every achievement—no matter how small.
