Supply Desk is proud to be supporting a specialist school in Aylesbury in their search for an exceptional PMLD SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026.
This rewarding opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The school provides a highly personalised curriculum, helping students develop communication, sensory, physical and life skills within a nurturing and supportive environment.
As a PMLD Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils achieve goals that can be life-changing, celebrating every milestone and creating meaningful learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
Support pupils with complex learning difficulties, medical needs, and physical disabilities.
Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, families, and external professionals.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Promote communication, independence, wellbeing, and personal development.
Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and pupil assessments.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience working with PMLD, SLD, Complex Needs, or SEND pupils.
Understanding of sensory learning approaches and personalised learning.
Patient, adaptable, and highly empathetic.
Committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for learners with additional needs.
