How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A specialist property law firm based in Camden is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its growing Residential Property team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Paralegal with up to 4 years' experience looking to develop their career within a property-focused firm. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure across a varied residential conveyancing caseload while working closely with experienced property lawyers and partners.

    The role offers the opportunity to build strong technical experience across freehold and leasehold transactions, with excellent long-term progression opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment.

    The Conveyancing Paralegal's Role

    The successful Conveyancing Paralegal will support fee earners across a broad range of residential property matters, including:

    Assisting with residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
    Supporting both freehold and leasehold transactions from instruction through to completion
    Preparing contract packs, legal documents and completion statements
    Ordering and reviewing property searches
    Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
    Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and management companies
    Providing regular updates to clients and managing day-to-day communications
    Assisting with exchange, completion and post-completion matters
    Maintaining accurate case records and supporting efficient file progression

    The Conveyancing Paralegal

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    Up to 4 years' experience within residential conveyancing
    Previous experience working within a residential property team
    Good understanding of the conveyancing process
    Experience handling leasehold matters would be advantageous
    Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
    Excellent communication and client care skills
    Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
    A proactive and professional approach
