How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A growing London law firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its expanding conveyancing team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Paralegal looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-structured environment. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across the full conveyancing process while working closely with experienced solicitors and fee earners.

    You must have previous law firm experience to be considered for this role.

    The Residential Property Paralegal's Role

    The successful Residential Property Paralegal will support the conveyancing team across a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:

    Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
    Preparing contract packs and legal documentation
    Carrying out searches and reviewing property information
    Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
    Managing enquiries and assisting with transaction progression
    Supporting SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
    Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
    Assisting fee earners with day-to-day file management from instruction through to completion and post-completion

    The Residential Property Paralegal

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    Previous experience within a Residential Property or Conveyancing team
    Experience working within a law firm environment
    Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
    Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Experience using legal case management systems
    A proactive and reliable approach
    A genuine interest in developing a career within property law
