Assistant Site Manager

Randstad CPE team is looking to onboard an Assistant Site Manager in Bicester. Our client is an established housebuilder delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed homes across the UK.

Sector: Residential Construction / HousebuildingKey responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations, and company policies, supporting the site manager in corrective actions and risk management.
Coordinate with utility companies, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
Attend and support weekly site meetings, promoting communication, standards, and safety.
Maintain site presentation, secure necessary documentation, and manage site inductions for all personnel.
Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety practices, accident reporting, and environmental policies.
Oversee and maintain quality control, including inspections, snagging, and ensuring quality standards for trades and materials.
Provide support in customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations, service visits, and addressing customer queries and issuesWhat We are Looking For:

Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant role on new build residential developments (e.g., Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Senior Foreman).
Strong understanding of residential construction processes, building regulations, and NHBC standards.
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation within the construction industry.
Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work certification.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
A commitment to delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer service.
