How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    *

Maintain and update quantity take-offs and material take-offs (MTOs) based on Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings to support accurate progress tracking

    *

Develop and maintain forecasting models, including estimate loading and cost projections aligned with project schedules and delivery milestones

    *

Perform cost-benefit analysis, value engineering assessments, and feasibility studies to optimise labour, materials, and execution strategies

    *

Analyse variances between planned and actual quantities and provide insights to support corrective actions and commercial decisions

    *

Contribute to project controls reporting by integrating quantity, cost, and progress data into standard reporting deliverables

    *

Interpret internal and external project issues, applying technical expertise to develop practical solutions and best practices

    *

Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, planning, and commercial teams to ensure data consistency and alignment

    *

Provide guidance to less experienced team members and support prioritisation of workload across project deliverables

    *

Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and project governance frameworks in all quantity surveying activities

    Experience Required

    *

Previous experience in quantity surveying within construction, EPC, or infrastructure projects

    *

Proven experience with quantity tracking, measurement, and progress reporting on large-scale projects

    *

Experience developing forecasts, cost estimates, and project controls reporting

    *

Experience interpreting and working from Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings

    *

Experience in value engineering and cost analysis within project delivery environments

    Technical Skills/Knowledge

    *

Quantity tracking and installed quantity measurement on construction projects

    *

Material Take-Off (MTO) development and updating from IFC drawings

    *

Cost forecasting and estimate loading within project controls environments

    *

Progress measurement methodologies (e.g. earned value, quantity-based tracking)

    *

Cost benefit analysis and commercial performance evaluation

    *

Value engineering and feasibility study execution across labour, materials, and scope

    Qualifications/Certifications

    *

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
