How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Products Manager

    Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours

    Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 Per Annum

    Location: Leicester

    We are supporting a well-established client in Leicester, established for over 40 years with a huge presence across the UK. Due to further growth plans, they are seeking an Electrical Product Manager to join their team as a Electrical Products Manager on a Full Time Permanent basis.

    Electrical Products Manager role: 

    Act as a central point of contact for electrical product related queries as an Electrical Products Manager
    Be a key point of contact for external customers and suppliers.
    Utilise your engineering or Electronics related degree and implement own initiative
    Responsible for the promotion of key Electrical products internally and externally as a Electrical Products Manager
    Attend client meetings with Sales Engineers as an Electrical Products Manager 
    Identify new market areas for new potential customer!
    Willingness to learn and gain new skills over the coming years and become a key player for the business for limitless career opportunities as an Electrical Product Manager
    Attend training events in house or externally which sometimes may involve overseas visits as Electrical Products Manager
    Conduct business review meetings as a Electrical Products Manager once per year
    Electrical Product Manager Candidate:   

    This role will be highly suited to a Leicester based Electronics or Electrical Graduate seeking your 1st step into a lengthy exciting career within Electrical Engineering
    You will have fantastic communication skills with a passion for delivering great customer service
    You will have the desire to learn and develop your technical skills on an ongoing basis.
    Ability to work autonomously with own diary management as an Electrical Product Manager
    Self-driven and motivated
