How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Flagship Visual Merchandiser | Manchester | Fashion & Accessories | Up to £50,000 + Benefits

Shape the Visual Identity of One of Our Highest-Profile Stores

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a leading fashion and accessories retailer to recruit an experienced Flagship Visual Merchandiser for one of its most important stores in Manchester.

This opportunity is ideal for an established Visual Merchandiser who thrives in large, high-volume retail environments and enjoys the autonomy to make commercial visual decisions that directly influence sales and the customer experience.

If you've worked within flagship stores, department stores, or large-format fashion and accessories retail and love taking ownership of visual presentation, customer journey and commercial space planning, we'd love to hear from you.

    The Role

As the Flagship Visual Merchandiser, you'll take ownership of the visual presentation across a large, high-profile store. Working across multiple fashion and accessories categories, you'll create inspiring customer journeys while ensuring every area of the store delivers both exceptional brand standards and commercial success.

This isn't simply about executing visual guidelines-you'll have the freedom to interpret the brand for your local customer, react to trading performance, and influence how the store looks and feels every day.

    What You'll Be Responsible For

Own the visual merchandising strategy across a flagship retail environment.

Create impactful window displays, feature areas and commercial product presentations that inspire customers and drive sales.

Plan and deliver seasonal launches, major floor moves and new collections across a large sales floor.

Use sales data, customer behaviour and commercial insight to influence visual decisions.

Maximise selling opportunities through effective space planning, product placement and visual storytelling.

Partner closely with Store Management while acting as the visual merchandising expert within the business.

Coach and inspire colleagues to maintain exceptional visual standards throughout the store.

Maintain impeccable presentation standards while adapting quickly to changing trading priorities.

Provide valuable feedback to Head Office on customer trends, product performance and opportunities within the local market.

    About You

You'll already have experience as a Senior Visual Merchandiser, Flagship Visual Merchandiser or Visual Merchandising Manager within a flagship, large-format or high-volume fashion and accessories retailer.

    You'll bring:

Experience working within flagship stores, department stores or large-scale fashion and accessories retail environments.

A proven track record of delivering exceptional visual standards across expansive retail spaces.

The confidence to work autonomously and make commercially driven visual merchandising decisions.

A strong understanding of customer journey, space planning and visual storytelling.

Commercial awareness with experience using sales performance to shape merchandising strategies.

Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

A passion for fashion, accessories, emerging trends and delivering inspiring customer experiences.

Experience supporting multiple stores or regional visual merchandising projects would be highly desirable, although not essential. We're equally interested in candidates who have owned the visual direction of a flagship or large-format store and are ready to bring that expertise to one of our highest-profile locations.

    What's On Offer?

    Salary up to £50,000

    Competitive benefits package.

Genuine autonomy within a flagship location.

    Ongoing learning and career development.

Excellent progression opportunities with a leading fashion and accessories retailer.

The opportunity to shape the visual identity of one of the brand's highest-profile stores and make a real commercial impact.

If you're an experienced Flagship Visual Merchandiser looking to make a real impact within a leading fashion and accessories retailer, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in your visual merchandising career.
