How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description
    Join Our Team as an Senior Support Worker
    Location:Bicester, Oxfordshire
    Salary:£15.06 per hour (£29,367 per annum) plus benefits
    Shifts:7.30am – 3:00pm, 2.30 pm – 10.00pm, Sleep in 10:00pm -7:30am (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
    Contract:Full time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent
    Driving Licence:A valid driving license is required (Manual, UK)
    Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

    What You’ll Need

    Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
    Hold QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be willing to complete Level 3
    A valid manual UK driving licence

    Supervise daily outputs and support the Deputy Manager with staff performance, development, and appraisals
    Ensure high-quality care and assistance for individuals
    Help people plan and achieve short- and long-term goals
    Organize and encourage creative activities, trips, learning, and social events
